Dr. Cheryl Hayes – Medical Director
Dr. Cheryl Hayes is the Medical Director of Core Management. She brings 20 years of experience to this company of medical professionals. Dr. Hayes completed her pre-medical and medical training at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. M.S.U is known to be a premier and state of the art program in the Osteopathic field. After graduating with honors, Dr. Hayes completed a residency at the University of Michigan Medical Center, in her chosen field of specialty in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. She has earned Board certifications through the American Medical and the American Osteopathic Associations. Since entering practice, she has focused upon rendering care to patients that have injuries and disabilities which require her expertise. Dr. Hayes provides both acute and chronic pain management, Osteopathic Medical Care, Electrodiagnostic Examinations, Interventional Pain Management procedures, and Disability Assessments. She is a recognized by the department of Labor and Industries as a certified disabilty examiner as well. She participates with most insurance programs through the state of Washington. Since her relocation to Washington in 1993, Dr. Hayes has treated over 75,000 patients! Many of these patients continue to be her loyal patients to this day.
Jon Ishihara, PT – Physical Therapist
Jon Ishihara, PT was born and raised in Santa Monica, California. He graduated from the physical therapy program at California State University Northridge cum laude in 1984. Jon worked at Los Angeles Sports Medicine and with the L.A. Clippers basketball team before moving to Seattle, Washington in 1990. He continued to work in sports medicine and orthopedics in South King County prior to changing focus to industrial medicine in 2000.
He worked at U.S. HealthWorks as Director of Physical Therapy until joining forces with Cheryl Hayes, D.O. in August 2009 at C.O.R.E. Injury Management.
Jon also does prevention work at Costco for PreCare Inc. He enjoys fishing, golf, rooting for the Seahawks, Mariners and UCLA Bruins, and spending time with his family. During his free time he officiates high school and recreational basketball, and continues to plays basketball in a senior league.
Wesley Espinosa, LMP – Licensed Massage Practitioner
Wesley Espinosa has been professionally practicing massage for 4 years. He attended Ashmead College Massage therapy Program in November 2004 and graduated in November 2005.
He specializes in Deep Tissue, Neuromuscular Technique, Trigger Point Release, Sports Massage, and Myo-fascial Release. His passion is simply to help people feel better. When Wesley is not working, he spends quality time with his kids, Wendle and Evangeline and his wife, Filipina.
